The NCD World Summit was beyond our
expectations. It is very hard to write a brief report about it, believe
me. 60 people from 30 countries met in the beautiful Farm Inn located
close to the South-African city Pretoria. We spent three days...

...listening to various presentations and
workshops, sharing with each other the challenges and the excitement of
NCD in different parts of the world.
Briefly, this was powerful event for all of
us. After three days of listening, eating, talking, laughing, networking,
exchanging ideas, and simply being together, we experienced the
power of authentic biblical community, becoming one family regardless of
age, gender, culture and religious backgrounds.
During the three days some discouragements,
doubts and even tensions were overcome. As we were learning from each
other and sharing experiences, the sense of a common vision grew,
accompanied by a growing excitement. We all gained a new perspective and
anticipation for NCD and its future. We exchanged some good NCD tools as
well.
You have probably heard that NCD is not a
miraculous pill (as many desire) but rather a life-long learning process
aimed at the transformation of not just the church as a whole but each
follower of Christ individually. Well, at the summit we heard stories, saw
people, and shook the hands of those who had witnessed just that.
Listening to Christian's final presentation
about the future of NCD ("second chapter" or "next level" as he called
it), I felt that "this is the climax of the summit." Christian was so full
of "the three colors" and we were so blessed by it. Little did I know what
was yet to come. Just a few moments later we felt the fire of worshipping
God. We experienced the power of praise, the power of the Word, the power
of prayer, and the power of "the 3 colors".
Someone said during the summit with a great
sense of humor, "The headquarters of NCD International are in the place
where you have to send your prayer to God with a grid so that He knows
where it is coming from." During our final prayer concert I thought, "God
is having a hard time to hear any other prayer but ours. What a holy noise
that was!"
