Welcome to eNCDine!

More than a month ago, the Tsunami wave hit the countries in South Asia and in other parts of the world. Indonesia is the country where most of the people were killed. The initial response to the need was incredibly huge, but now they need ongoing help and support.

Many of you already helped in different ways, and after our e-mails in December and January, many thousands of Euros and U.S. Dollars have been donated to Abbalove Ministries / NCD Indonesia for helping churches and people in need.

Click -> here to learn more on how you can continue to help in short and long-term projects in Indonesia.

Every blessing for your ministry,

How To Draw Up A Mission Statement For Your Church (Part III)

What role does a "mission statement" play in the life of a church? You can illustrate and explain this question through the image of a "vision tree".

The "mission statement" of a church – like the stem of a tree – bears all the ministries and events (branches and leaves). At the same time, it channels and focuses all the energy in a way that leads the church to do the things that correspond with God's will for this church and produce fruit.  ―> more...

NCD UPDATE - Petr Činčala

"We help the pastor find a good coach."

NCD in Sweden goes back to the year 2000 when a national NCD ministry was established by a Swedish denomination. Today NCD is being utilized by all denominations. eNCDine talked to Klas Eriksson and Tomas Arvidson representing the NCD National Partner in Sweden. Read more on the characteristics of this national ministry and how local churches benefit from NCD.   ―> more...

Living in Both Worlds?

"Yes, he is living in both worlds," it recently slipped out of my mouth during an editorial meeting of a Christian magazine. I was referring to an author who actually succeeded in being an example of spiritual growth, and at the same time an expert of church growth. Personal growth and church growth – do these really represent two different worlds? It might help to ask this question first: Where do these two "worlds" come from and where are they going? .  ―> more...

COACHING TIP - Bob Logan / Sherilyn Carlton

Celebrating Progress

After God created the world, he surveyed his work and saw that it was good. He took the time to sit back, observe, and consider -- he wasn't immediately off to the next project. As people created in his image, we are designed to be the same way. Learn more on how your coaching can reflect God's design.  ―> more...

Asking the Hard Questions about Coaching
The Journey to a Major Strategy Shift for NCD Canada

I have to confess that it is with some hesitation that I share these things with the international NCD community. I feel somewhat like Martin Luther in the sense that, in Canada, we have questioned very accepted NCD norms. I know what you are thinking, Luther never heard of NCD and that is true, but he went against the flow. We embarked on a journey of hard questions in Canada … ―> more...
